On October 6, 2025 OpenAI has introduced one of its most transformative updates yet: “Apps in ChatGPT.” The feature turns ChatGPT from a standalone chatbot into a full-fledged platform where third-party apps like Spotify, Canva, and Zillow can live inside your conversation — allowing you to interact, browse, design, or shop without ever leaving the chat.
